Project '78 Recordings

I am going to be releasing my Project '78 CD's which are going to be taken from the best possible, error-free sources starting in April of 2003. This is a comprehensive list of the Project '78 recordings that are complete and should be entering circulation soon. All of these shows have been retracked and reindexed, and where possible, Set I is on Disc 1, and Set II and encores is on Disc 2.

 I've also documented the light clean-up/edit work I've done, but I have done NO remastering or noise-reduction or the like WHATSOEVER. I am going to be releasing the Project '78 recordings in .SHN format and I strongly encourage that they be traded in this fashion to reduce the number of flawed copies in circulation.

Pop removed @ 1:46 in Mr. Tambourine Man, @ 0:16-0:17, of Girl Of The North Country. Gap at the beginning of LARS repaired. Fixed a couple of glitches between tracks.

03/22/78- Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne, Australia

Master Tape -> CDR

Removed a tiny glitch @ 5:04 of Just Like A Woman (this glitch was on all 4 copies of this show I have)

09/15/78- Civic Center, Augusta, ME

Master Tape -> CDR

Removed bumps between all tracks. Boosted the volume of the first 16 seconds of My Back Pages by 6db. Boosted crowd noise between Baby, Stop Crying and Watchtower by 18db.

09/30/78- Madison Square Garden, New York, NY

Master Tape -> CDR

Fixed glitch between I Want You and Senor.

10/06/78- The Spectrum, Philadelphia, PA

Master Tape -> CDR

Fixed a glitch @ 1:39 of LARS. Fixed two pops (1:11 and 5:27) in Blowin' In The Wind. Fixed a pop @ 3:25 in All I Really Want To Do. Fixed a glitch in Forever Young @ 5:22. Fixed a glitch in COTG @ 4:52.

Low-Generation Tape -> CDR

Fixed repeating section of the beginning of Girl Of The North Country. Removed a pop @ 3:12 of JLAW.
Fixed a dropout @ 3:25 of AATW. Fixed repeating section between It's Alright, Ma and Forever Young.
Raised volume of Forever Young and COTG by 3db (they were lower than the rest of the show).

10/20/78- Richfield Coliseum, Richfield, OH

Master Tape -> CDR

Removed pops @ 3:11 of JLAW, @ 0:46 of AATW,  @ 1:39 of It's Alright, Ma, and @ 4:35 of COTG.

10/25/78- Market Square Arena, Indianapolis, IN

Master Tape -> CDR

Normalized entire recording to 100%. Fixed problem with Where Are You Tonight where it cut halfway then started over again.
