Bill of Sale to Morris Rubel
Filed for record December 10th 1862

To and in consideration of the sum of eightteen hundred dollars to us in hand paid by Morris Rubel. We have this day bargained, sold and delivered to said Rubel the following named negro slave, CATHERINE aged about twenty six years of copper color and her child LEVY aged about eight years of copper color and we hereby warrant sound the 6th day of December A. D. 1862.
