Remembering the Slaves of William Stackhouse

...I give and bequeath to my son Moody Stackhouse...also the negro man named ABRAM of dark complexion and about 25 years of age...now in possession of said Moody Stackhouse.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Celia Manning and to her lawful heirs one eight part of all my negroes including one negro woman ALSY, heretofore given her.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann King one eight part of all my negroes including one negro woman BININ? heretofore received by her.

I give and bequeath to Caroline Stackhouse one eight part of all my negroes including one negro woman BIB heretofore received by her.

I give and bequeath to Moody Stackhouse one eight of all my negroes.

I give and bequeath to Catherine Johnson one eight part of all my negroes including these negroes TRALON? and her children JOHN and LOUISA heretofore received by her.

I give and bequeath to Lauretta Edgan one eight part of all my negroes including one negro woman MILLY and her child PEGGY heretofore received by her.

I give and bequeath to Harriet Fearing one eight of all my negroes.

I give and bequeath to Moody Stackhouse as trustee for the use and benefit of James Stackhouse and the heirs of his body one eight part of all my negroes for the support and maintaince of James Stackhouse and his heirs...
