Filed for record the 8th day of November A. D. 1861

This indenture made and entered into this 8th day of November A. D. 1861 by and between Druscilla J. Chambliss of the first part and Leonard Harper Wilkinson of the second part all of the County of Jefferson and State of Mississippi, witnesseth that said party of the first part for and in consideration of one dollar to mine hand paid by Mary Richardson, the ? friend to said party of the second part for and on his behalf and also for the love and affection which said party of the first part bear to said party of the second part he being her grandson doth by these presents, bargain, sell, convey, confirm and deliver unto him party of the second part the following property to wit reserving the free use, enjoyment and possession of the same during the natural life of said party of the first party free free from all incumbrance or ? whatsoever one negro girl named PASTY about 20 years old, one negro girl named ROSALLA about 19 years old, a negro man named JOSHUA aged about 25 years, a negro girl named MILLY aged about 14 years, a negro boy named CHESTERFIELD aged about 16 years and their natural increase. to have and hold unto him said party of the second part and his heirs during his life and should said party of the first part die without issue then to revert to his Mother Mary D. Richardson and her children forever.

In witness whereof said party of the first part doth hereto offer her seal and her signature this the date above written.
