Mythic Heritage is a monthly work in progress. Loosely defined, it is a column devoted to the power of story and the abuses of that power. Stories are more than just entertainment they contain the capacity to heal, for both the individual and society. They can share lessons on morality, exemplify the greatest attributes of a culture, and emphasize an understanding of a people.
