Hail! Welcome to my grotto. My usename is Scylla. Don't ask me for my truename. I am a Unicorn, one of a band residing in the Hallow Hills. Or wherever else we happen to wish to live. Hey, it's a free Plain.
The Unicorns of the Hills are a peace-loving culture, and having won our homelands back after four hundred years of exile, there are few who would challenge that peace. We owe our return to Alma's Chosen, Aljan Moonbrow, whose knowledge of fire helped rid the Hallow Hills of our enemies--the treacherous Wyverns.
But Aljan Moonbrow's battles are lost to me save in song. I am born of the Vale, yet only a two-yeared filly at the time of battle, I stayed upon the Plain with the very young, the old, and those slowed by pregnancy or illness. Upon my third birthing-day, I was apprenticed to Teki the Healer, and learned the arts of Healing and Laysinging (although I excel in the former rather than the latter).
In short, I'm not your average, wimpy white-coated Uni. I don't play hide-and-seek with humans, and I'm too smart to get lured into a trap by a pure maiden...although a handsome elf might do the trick...
Update August 24, 2003 - Basic information about The Firebringer Trilogy begun. Character analyses for Jan, Tek, and Korr available now, as well as lists of creatures and places, though detail is scarce at the moment.

Bright red overall body color with orange dapples along the lower portion of his barrel, flank, shoulder, and hip. Orange-yellow mane and tail, black horn, black hooves, and legs that shade to black from the knees and hocks down. Unusual eyes - Black sclera with an orange iris.
