Layer Manager
How To Use:
- Type the name of the desired 'Layer' you want to manipulate.
- Select appropriate options regarding layer manipulation.
- Select the Source Folder where the drawings are located.
- Now click 'START'. You will be prompted for password if you are using full
version.
- If you are using the full version you can repeat the above process as many
times as you want. But in demo version, the program will be closed
automatically just after one run and you need to start again.
- The modified files will be saved in a subfolder of source folder named
'modified'. It will be created if does not exists.
Important Features:
- The demo version will not process more than five files at a time even
though the source folder contains more files. Full version doesn't have any
such restriction.
- AutoCAD will run in the background. In the end AutoCAD may prompt you to
save 'Drawing1.dwg'. Select no in this case. Don't be worried if you have
selected yes.
- The software has been developed in Windows 2000 for AutoCAD 2002. It also
runs in Windows Millennium with AutoCAD 2002. Other combinations of operating
system & AutoCAD version may be tested. It should run in Windows 98 or with
AutoCAD 2000 too.
- AutoCAD must be properly installed in your computer to run this software.
- If you select to delete the layer, all the objects in the layer will be
deleted altogether. If the layer can't be deleted for any reason then other
options (i.e. On/Off, Lock/Unlock etc.) will be applied on this layer.
- The modified drawings will be saved in a sub-folder named 'modified' under
the source folder. If the source folder already contains a sub-folder
named 'modified' then all the files with same name of
the source files in the 'modified' sub-folder will be
overwritten without any prompt. Be cautious about this.
