I
grew up around the block from Lori. We were in the girl
scouts together, played sports and had some wonderful
laughs. I recall how painful her loss was to me as it was
my first experience in a funeral home. I remember seeing
her wearing a beautiful dress and thinking how she would
have hated it! My fondest memory of Lori and probably the
funniest was when she climbed to the top of the bleachers,
knelt down so that just her head was visible and started
cracking "head" jokes. I'm sure she would have
been Commack's first Rosie O'Donnell and I miss her to
this day!
