Adolph became a true friend of mine while at South. He was an inspiration
and I loved him for the guidance and care he gave me. It has been over
the 20 years that we kept in touch and only in the last ten that I couldn't
find him anymore. I had been trying to look for his address now and then,
but now, unfortunately I know why. Anyway, I really enjoyed his class and
in his making electronics interesting I went into Electronics Engineering
and work for the Harris Corporation in Melbourne Florida. In the past I
use to call him up from Florida every now and then and
surprise him and
his wife- talk about the Model Airplane Club Days and so on. Once I went
to his house (in Hauppauge I think) and we talked about my class mates and
the faculty; all the character and mannerisms they had. He told me of the
"Super" teachers he knew in the school and his personal feelings
toward
others. I'm very sorry to read this, I was hoping to find his address,
but not the one listed here.
