Amos C. Palmer
I'm told the C. stands for Clevenger but I have no proof of that. I do not have any Clevenger ancestry for him in my file.

It is interesting to note that I am a Palmer and I am 78 years old. My piano teacher when I was a child was Mrs. Clevenger. I believe her husband was Clyde. Our families both belonged to Whittier, CA Friends Church (Quaker). Any connections to your family?
I'm not aware of a specific connection but it wouldn't surprise me to learn that there were distant relations anywhere else in the country.
