PIPERS OF THE CEREMONIAL GUARD

This is going to be a new page dedicated to the Pipers of the Ceremonial Guard. The Pipe Corps has existed as it is today since 1992, when the decision was made to augment the alotment of the three pipers hired each year to pipe the Guards down the driveway at Rideau hall, to the current alotment of 12 pipers that perform each morning on Parliament Hill with the Band of the Ceremonial Guard.

The pipe corps continues to reform each summer with pipers from across the country, forming the most employed pipe section in the Canadian Forces. The current Pipe-Major is Joel Gaudry, from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
