The RETIRED ROGUE'S GALLERY
Introduction by Spuddie.
Some have requested to be here, while others are here by default since they have not posted to the newsgroup in quite some time. Originally I had intended just to leave the list intact and whole, but it's growing with a fair number of new people being added lately...I have had several recent e-mails from newer people asking me "who is this?" or "does this person go by another name, I've never seen them on the group?" and the like.
Since the purpose of the Gallery is, in part, to help newcomers to the group put faces to names of regulars, having a bunch of folks there who don't post seems a bit counterproductive. My solution is to move the old reg'lars to this retirees page.
There were some former Rogues who were featured in John Wilson's old Gallery who specificially requested to be removed altogether, which I have respectfully done.
Personally
speaking, I would like to see this page get smaller and smaller and have
these folks come on back to the newsgroup. If anyone doesn't like being
retired...all they need to do is make a few posts to the newsgroup and
I'd be glad to move them back.
