An open space fronting onto the river, where the villagers mingle with the visitors.
Camelotish in its weather, the Village Green is always crowded with inline skaters, kite-flyers, frisbee throwers, wellbehaved pets being walked, and entertainment for all.
The BANDSTAND Featuring Helen playing 76 Trombones. A very hard task for 1 bassoon! Murphy also performs with a one man band type drum on her back, blowing a kazoo, playing extracts from '2001, A Space Odyssey' to mark the opening of our own Iguana Launch Site.
ROSE GARDEN
Arlin's Rose Garden is also on the green, with small ponds and waterfall's with lots of geese & ducks and a public loo! Magic key needed!
The SOAP BOX
Often used by Villagers when they have something important to say about World, National, Village or Personal affairs. Personal attacks are discouraged, although free speech is guaranteed. Just don't expect everyone to agree with you, or even to notice you. Sometimes a frisbee in the hand is more important than a scandal half a world away.
KELPIE'S SOCK EXCHANGE
Held on the third Saturday of every month. A place where you have a chance of matching up your "orphing" socks.
