Born and raised in Ottawa, went to school in Ottawa, worked all my life in Ottawa, and now retired..... in Ottawa.

I like Ottawa.

Ottawa is a perfect place for cycling and just about any other sport you can imagine.  NOT HILLY, though.  You can leave your granny gears at home.

I've been doing long distance sports since about 1980, when I started jogging in the Terry Fox days, but I started participating in other things too, since 1985.    

They're all the same.   I've been cycling mainly for the past 5 or 6 years.  I  go to the Y most days too.

I've done several bike - camping rides in both  Australia and Canada, since 1996.  This picture was taken at Cyclone 98, from Kitchener to Niagara Falls and back.  They're great events where you meet a lot of great people, both on the ride and in the little towns we pass through.

This is a picture of my *mighty Bridgestone* road bike.  I have a Rockhopper mountain bike too.

I like "thinking man's" movies were I *need*  to concentrate a little to follow the plot.  A coffee and a donut sure goes good after too.

Because of my great many years of mail sorting experience  at Canada post, I'm very well qualified to handle APFPY's post office duties.    Just please do not use recycledpaper for your flyers..
