I began life at a very young age and lived most of my youth as a child.
Upon reaching my majority I spent a signifigant amount of time spending signifigant amounts of time.
I became interested in the martial arts around 1967 and have pursued it ever since even to the extent of strongly suggesting that my familial ladies enroll in a class. My darling wife and elder daughter now sport black belts and the younger daughter needs one more test to make black. I now have my own team of bodyguards wherever I go. ;-]
I've always worked well with my hands if not with others and by the time I turned 45 I had a cool little remodeling company and lots of assets to sell to the highest bidder.
I Retired then.
I became aware of computers (read as *could afford a computer*) in the days of the 486 and Windows 3.11. By the time Windows95 came along I was building my own computers and looking for a good operating system.
I now use BeOS and Mandrake Linux for my cyber Wizardry and get better at it all the time. How I got along without internet access for all that time I'll never know.
These days I split my time between being retired and (when retirement gets boring) helping my darling wife with her painting company.I'm a proud resident of Imperial, MO in the uSA and father of two daughters almost grown.
I write limericks on alt.jokes.limericks which is where I met some of the more outlandish folks here, puns on alt.humor.puns and (sometimes) alt.callahans, and give and get advice on Mandrake Linux on alt.os.linux.mandrake.
I post on APFPY just to annoy some of the regulars.

I'm an early curmudgeon, a staunch defender of personal liberty, an old fashioned kind of guy, and occasionally somewhat witty.
