I'm a 48 yr. old "homemaker" (former postal worker), mother of 4, grandmother of 8, married to "Big Frank." 

He's gone more than he's home with his job as a federal mine inspector. 

I live in Small town, Illinois, USA, with my husband, our two youngest kids, two cats, and our newest addition, a Maltese puppy named Winston.

My hobbies include APFPY (of course!), writing poetry and prose, figuring out this computer stuff, and astrology.  I'm an insatiable reader and love nonfiction as well as fiction. 

But most of my time is spent working on "This Old House" that we bought, remodeling, decorating, and gardening.
