Alans career highlight was being introduced to Earl and Louise Scruggs by Vassar Clements and getting to play a tune with Earl at his home in Nashville. "Thanks Vassar and Earl".
In July, 2001, I went to Nashville to visit Vassar before playing Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. While there, Vassar took me to meet Earl Scruggs. |
