Moderate Christian Hippies believe that the Bible is God's Word, while remaining open to new understanding of it. Moderates question the idea that our modern day translations of the Bible are without error ... verses how the orginal Bible manuscripts were found. That view holds that the Bible as we have it is the result of God's Holy Spirit directly revealing His words to its authors. There is a general consensus that scripture must be interpreted both through the lens of the culture in which it was originally written, and examined using God-given reason. Neither of these methods is believed to diminish the importance of scripture or is an indication that scripture is not the revelation of God's Word.

Most moderate Christians are Trinitarian , but not all. Some subsribe to some form of Biblical Unitarianism , such as Divinitarianism . Basically, there are '3' types of Christianity. Each group embraces the term "Christian", each uses the Bible.

• Think that the way we treat one another and other people surpasses doctrinal issues; (surpassing trinity verses unity debates.)
• Believe Jesus is Savior for the world, but do not judge those outside this relm as eternally lost; nor that there is no possible fair second chance. We reserve and preserve the belief that God is more generous in grace rather than less. We use the example of the repentive thief for this reasoning.
• Recognize the faithfulness of other people who may belong to other faiths, and view such as alternative faiths rather than calling them 'cults.'
• Believes hell means SHEOL=grave and seperation from God and NOT a literal eternal place of fire torment.
• Welcome Trinatarians & Biblical Unitarians Alike
• Believes In The Full Equality Of Women, that they should serve equally as pastors/edlers and we support inclusive language translations of the Bible.
• Support Peace
• Support Non-Kill Animal Shelters
• Supports Eco-Friendly Products
