The day's been better than expected. The meeting went better than expected (as far as I know). The hang out session with my friend(s) was fun, everything went smoothly. I needed that. I was almost starting to think that it was me. I even got a surprise visit from an old friend :)

After we were done I found out that my chef (or something) acquaintance/friend was preparing some food, and right now she's BBQ with a head torch...and it smells really good!

I just hope that nothing will go wrong before I hit the sack...

Also stopped by to try the new bra that I've been waiting for for months. Of course it didn't fit. Cleary made by a man...or something. Then decided to buy my very expensive beloved bag instead. It wasn't there any more. So now I'm left with nothing. Dammit!

Went to have coffee (or an icecream float) with my friend and accidentally read the news paper. Apparently 11 people have been food poisoned eating my fav. salad at one of my fav. salad places. And if that wasn't enough, they just had to mention my fav. sushi place too!

In class all day. But the food was great and I got time to try the other two new flavours. Raspberry tasted a lot like raspberry, but I like raspberry so it was okay. The other one was really good too.

I've been posting a lot of pictures, links and silly stuff lately so I thought I'd serious for moment here... When should you do when someone just don't want to stop drinking? I met a friend today on my way to the store. It was around 11 am and he was already drinking cider and carrying around a bag of booze. Coming from the drinker's bench. He stopped and wanted to talk but I felt like I had nothing nice to say so I just walked by. Felt kinda guilty afterwards. I thought he'd lernt his lesson but apparently not. When I first got to know him he was a bit childish but he had a good job and a girlfriend that he shared a house with. Then he started to hang out with some friends who were drinking and so was he. But they stopped and he didn't. He lost his job, his girlfriend (don't know the reason for that though) and eventually also his home. He committed some petty crimes and whatnot. About a year or so ago he agreed to a bet: No drinking for six months. At all. He stopped. He started to sort out all the crime stuff, he manged to get a fixed income, he got an apartment. And he seemed proud of what he had accomplished. About a month before the bet was up he started to talk about the drinking again, counting down the days left. Bought beer. an now, a month or so later after the bet ended he's back where he started. I know we're all more or less screwed up in some way, but this is really destructive behaviour. What do you do in a situation like this??
