Pre-Game Infield Party for Adult Racing Fans!

Infield partiers prove that drinking and driving do mix.

Think Woodstock—cooler than ‘94, but less flammable than ‘99 —its lush fields stretching as far as the eye can see, teeming with filthy, nubile revelers, loud music, and sundry intoxicants. Now add the deafening sound of 358-cubic-inch V8 engines, and replace the Red Hot Chili Peppers with about 40 3,500-pound automobiles whirring by at 185 miles per hour, and you’ve got Sunday during the Winston Cup Racing season.

It’s the NASCAR infield party scene, and it’s nuts. Every weekend (read: Wednesday through Monday) encampments within the track abound with merrymakers who’ve come to see three things: cars, crashes, and the biggest party within a thousand-mile radius. The only thing missing is you.

You can recreate this type of Infield party of your very own by asking all of your NASCAR friends to bring their RV’s and park them in an oval shape in your backyard or a large open field, with the doorways parked to the “inside” of the oval. They can then open their RV awnings, unfold their lounge chairs and have a great time at your party! Stack used tires in and around your "Infield" to complete the oval shape. Then you add loud music (a live band or DJ), lots of hot barbeque with all the fixings, and washtubs filled with crushed ice and canned beverages. Ask your guests to bring their own NASCAR memorabilia to the party, or you can supply your own NASCAR printed t-shirts, visors and beer coolers as party favors.

Activites are limited only by your imagination - How about inviting International Scottish Hypnotist, Scott Burke, to entertain your guests? One of Scott's hillarious hypnotic demonstrations includes "Formula One Driving" in which all of the volunteers are given a hypnotic suggestion that they are sitting in formula one racing cars, determined to win the race.

When it is time for the race to begin, your friends will be able to enjoy the action on a large movie-sized television, rented just for the occasion.
