1001 Arabian Nights

Please note: This party works best if you can arrange to invite enough guests i.e. no fewer than 7 guests and their dates, but up to “Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves” = The Guest of Honor plus 40 of his friends and their dates.

A few weeks before the party a pretty girl in a belly dancer's costume delivers invitations door to door. She hands out a cloth bag. She tells the guests to reach inside and take out one colored piece of sheer material. An invitation with the party details is attached to the it. She tells him if he loses the material he will be very sorry; then, she leaves.

Guests and their dates arrive at the hotel penthouse. A huge mean looking guy, with a turban on his head, wearing an arabian costume with a giant sword greets your guests at the door and checks to make sure they have an invitation to attend. He will also check ID to make sure each guest is over 18.

Guests are escorted in by a woman in a belly dancer's outfit into one of the bedrooms. There guests change into their Arabian costumes. Guests should select the richest looking outfits from the full line of costumes at Center Stage Costume Shop. The escort then leads guests to a large cushion at a low table, with tons of food and drinks on it. His personal belly dancer (date in costume) feeds him as he reclines on the cushion. Be sure to have plenty of film in your camera to take plenty of “blackmail” pictures !

Each guest arrives, puts on their costume and is led to the table by their personal belly dancer. There is a wide assortment of refreshments piled on the low tabletops. The men are fed grapes, pieces of steak, carrot sticks, anything they wanted while they wait for the guest of honor to arrive.

When the guest of honor enters, all of the girls get up, surround him and take him into another room. They whisk him away so fast, he is unable to speak. The look of panic and joy on their buddy's face is priceless.

The guest of honor emerges, dressed like a king, and the girls lead him to the head of the table. The girls return to their places and an eighth girl emerges. She is the most beautiful of all the girls; a goddess. She wears nothing but layers of veils. Notice that each of the veils exactly matches the color of the material the guests received before the party. The girl with the seven veils caters to the guest of honor's every whim. The guys are beside themselves!

After they eat, Arabian music begins while the belly dancing troupe performs for the guests. And then, the grand finale. The Goddess gets up and performs the Dance of the Seven Veils, except she doesn't remove the veils herself. Each guy has to have his matching piece of material or that veil won't come off. The dancer is nearly nude with all of them off!

The guys go wild! The guest of honor receives the most attention. The goddess goes to him dancing, tempting him, and teasing him. The other guys are jealous, but not too badly because their girlfriends or wives are there, too.

All of the girls, the musicians, the food, everything is excellent and everyone behaves themselves. At the end of the party, the girls give each guest oils and candles to take home with them.
