JANUARY 2007- ARCHIVES

WOW! Another year has past and 2007 roared in with a passion. The weather across the United States and Europe has been the talk of the Internet. Florida was the only place with decent weather the entire Month of January.

The Tigers and NIL League players voted to make GamingPeak our permanent home. We requested and received a name change for our private playing room. It is now known as NIL Leagues and Tigers' Den. This is our spot on the Internet and I would hope all Tigers would get use to stopping in and finding pards for tourneys or just enjoy a game with friends.

Tigers earned 174 banners during January 2007. Spades had 69 banners; Gin Rummy, 53; Cribbage, 29; BackGammon, 11; Hearts, 8; and, Euchre,4.

Top Spades honors once again were earned by tiger_gram with 54 banners. tiger_george64 won runner-up honors with 6 banners (all earned with tiger_gram). Tiger_Gabby__DA won the monthly awards for BackGammon, Cribbage, Gin Rummy and Hearts. Nice playing Gabby - you certainly show versatility. Tiger_PondLady was Gin Rummy runner-up. Gabby grabbed 18 banners and Karen walked away with 17.

March 2007 will mark the 8th Anniversary of the Tigers Spades Club. We hope you will all come celebrate during the month with us. Most festivities will be staged in our private gaming room on GamingPeak site. Please watch the community and your email for further information.

I am hoping that Tiger_lady43 and Tiger_Scorp_DA will be feeling better and will be able to join us for our anniversary celebrations.Tiger_LSUfan_Admn has held down the fort with me and many of our outstanding Den leaders. We do thank you all for your hard work and dedication to this family. Special recognition awards have been made to those DAs who has worked so hard these past six months - while we struggled with all the changes caused by the closing of classic card and board games on the Zone.
