The Month of September found the Acers, Pack and Pride teams claiming the Number One Rank in the CampFire Ladders League.

Special recognition is given to the Tiger Pride Team as they were ranked fives time #1 on the ladder in Ladder Room 5. In fact all Tiger teams did an outstanding job this month and we ended our stint in the Cmapfire League with three teams ranked among the top 15 teams.

As is well known, all four Tiger teams left the Campfire League and team members voted overwhelmingly to create a new public ladder. Thus on October 1, 2003, the New Images League was open for business.

Webster describes new images as "A mental conception held in common by members of a group and symbolic of a basic attitude and orientation." We felt this was it - New Images League - plus when advertising it is catchy to use NIL for a game.

New Images League is a public ladders league. We are offering regular spades games with a "no double nil" option. All Zone Spades Clubs are welcome to form a team with us as well as any other ladder team looking for competition, friendship, honesty and sportmasnship.

We hope to see New Images flourish in the next few weeks and invite everyone to stop and visit our new league in League Room 1 on the Zone.

Each team offers team members 3 different awards: Player of the Month, Sportmanship Award, and Most Improved Player. The recipents of the awards are being chosen by the individual team captains. Awards will appear on this ladder page each month and are also posted on each members personal web site.
