DRAWING THE RIGHT FACE

Yes! It's about time I teach you a little itty bitty about drawing faces with personalities and whatnot physiology!

I LIKE THEM TOUGH AND MANLY

As you should know, the faces of a guy are often drawn more angular than a girl's. Why? Because in most cases, having a rigid jaw is masculine while smooth sloped and rounded jaws are for girls. There are exceptions to the rule such as character type and style, but this is how it goes basically. Ha, BASIC is even the name of the lessons section you're in.

There are times when you can't tell but maybe you're not looking at it the right way. Throw a long beautriful wig and some makeup on your older brother or uncle, study their face only, and ask "ALRIGHTY, WHY DOES YOUR FACE STILL LOOK SO MASCULINE?"

If they tell you it's because you used the wrong foundation and their lip color is rasberry glimmer it's time to run, but in any case I hope you know the difference in cartoons and real life (because there is a difference).

A GIRL HAS PRETTY CHEEKS

What more can I say? Avoid making a girl's cheeks too sharp or anguluar.
