Once you buy a space pod or ship you can travel through space. With this being said you will be able to fly from one planet to the next or galaxy to galaxy. The below chart shows the time it will take to travel from one location to the next. Also the base gravity in space is 50.

TRAVEL DISTANCES
Planet to Planet (same galaxy) - 2 days
North to East/West galaxy - 3 days
East to West galaxy - 5 days
