SMACKDOWN TAPING - AIRDATE: 02/21/2002 Earlier today, Vince cuts a backstage promo. The nWo should be held responsible for their activities and should be responsible to the fullest extent of the law. I feel certain by all parties will be justified by the punishment that the nWo will receive. The nWo should publicly apologize to the Rock and all of you tonight. -- Triple H vs Undertaker is announced for tonight. -- Kurt Angle comes to the ring. Don't start with me people, I am not in the mood. Last Monday night was a travesty. I was robbed of my title shot at WrestleMania. Since then I have been dting to take out my frustrations on anyone. Here's how it is gonna be. I'm gonna stand in this ring until someone back there comes out here and faces me in a match. If you have the guts come out here and face me right now. -- Kane comes to the ring. MATCH #1: Kurt Angle vs. Kane -- Match starts off with Kane in control. Suplex by Angle. Angle brings a chair in the ring and hits Kane in the back and head. Ref calls for the bell. Kane gets up and spears Angle out of the ring. Both men trade blows on the outside. Angle gets thrown into the ring steps. Kane clears off the announce table. Low blow by Angle. Angle belly to back suplexes Kane through the table. Angle mounts Kane with punches. Angle takes out the timekeeper. Angle beats on Kane's ankle with a chair. Anklelock on Kane on the floor. Angle finally lets go and leaves to the back. Winner by DQ: Kane Backstage Segment -- Backstage, Flair and Anderson are watching the monitor and say they need to get a grip on things. Undertaker enters and wants an answer from Flair. Flair says he has been thinking about it but he has a lot onhis plate. Undertaker says he doesn't give a damn about any of that other crap, he wants an answer. Flair says no. Undertaker says that is just like Flair to be a coward. Undertaker says that is the last no answer he will take because come Monday night something tells him his answer will be yes. Undertaker looks at Arn and says when it comes to a Horsemen, I guess you were the one who had all the guts. Video Segment -- They are showing nWo coverage from No Way Out and Raw right now...about 15 minutes of it. -- The nWo is shown backstage headed towards the ring. They are saying they can't believe it has come to this. Re-Shoot Of Match #1 -- Austin's My Sacrifice Desire video is shown. -- Kurt Angle comes to the ring. Shut up. Kane, I'm gonna finish what I started. Not only will I go olympic on your ass but this time I'm gonna break your ankle. Kane hobbles back to the ring. -- Kane throws Angle into the ring steps. Kane clears off the announce table. Angle belly to back suplexes Kane through the table. Angle puts on the ankle lock. Angle finally lets go and leaves to the back. Note from Calvin - this was a re-shoot because the first time Angle suplexed Kane through the table, the table had already collapsed before he even pulled the move off. In-Ring Segment -- The nWo comes to the ring. Nash gets on the mic and is holding a piece of paper he reads from. As a proud employer of Vince McMahon I would like to apologize to the viewers who watched Raw Monday night. I ask that you accept my heart-felt apology. Out actions were hanus and inexusable. -- Hall gets on the mic and reads from the paper. I would like to wish the Rock a speedy recovery. We are deeply disappointed in ourselves. We are not apologizing because Vince told us to, we are apologizing from our hearts. I am sorry. We were wrong. -- Hogan grabs the mic and paper. I would like to thank Vince's attorney for arranging the community service we will perform. Rock, I fogive you for attacking me first because I am truly sorry. Trust me, I'm not gonna be sorry for what I will do to you at WrestleMania. -- Steve Austin drives to the ring in his truck. Austin gets out and knocks out Nash and Hogan with a crowbar. Austin chases Hall up the ramp and attacks him with the crowbar. Austin gets back in his truck and attempts to run over Hall but Hogan and Nash hurry up and carry him off. Parking Lot Segment -- During the break the nWo is shown in the parking garage. They see that Austin has trashed their limo. Austin pulls up in his truck. The nWo runs. Austin chases after them back into the building. MATCH #2: Edge vs Christian -- Match starts off with Christian invert dropping Edge across his knee. Edge punches Christian down in the corner. Edge drops Christian face first on the ring apron. Back in the ring Christian drops Edge across the ropes and chokes him for a two count. Edge hits a spinning heel kick. DDT by Edge for a two count. Backdrop by Edge. Spear by Edge followed up by a modified cloverleaf for the submission win. Winner: Edge Mixed Segments -- After the match Christian gets on the mic. I guess you were expecting me to throw a temper tantrum huh? I'm not gonna cry. I'll do you one better. As of right now I QUIT! -- Backstage, Hogan and Nash find a hiding spot in a room. Hall didn't make it. Nash attempts to go find him but Hogan stops him saying Austin may be out there. MATCH #3: Hardys & RVD vs. Dudleys & Lance Storm -- Matt hits Bubba with a moonsault for a two count. Dvon knocks Jeff off the ring apron. Matt hits Dvon with a neckbreaker. RVD with a spinning heel kick on Storm. Stacy crotches RVD on the ropes. 3D on Matt. Jeff makes the save with a swanton. Storm superkicks Jeff. Litacanrana on Storm. RVD hits Storm with the 5 star frog splash for the pin. Winners: Hardys & RVD Backstage Segment -- Backstage, Stephanie enters Flair's office and complains about the decisions he made Monday night. Stephanie hears the toilet flush and thinks it is Arn. Triple H steps out and says life is a bitch, then you marry one. Stephanie gets mad and leaves. WWF Tag Team Championship Tazz and Spike Dudley vs Billy and Chuck -- APA are shown in their locker room watching the match. Double team on Chuck. Chuck runs Tazz into Billy's boot. Billy punches Tazz down in the corner. German suplex by Tazz on Chuck for a two count. Head and arm tazplex on Chuck. Spike with a ddt on Billy for a two count. Spike headscissors Billy out of the ring. Billy blocks the dudley dog and Spike walks into a superkick from Chuck. Billy follows up with the fameasser for the pin. Winners and New WWF Tag Team Champions: Billy and Chuck Backstage Segments -- Triple H's U2 video is shown. -- Chimmel tells the live crowd that he was just informed that before the night is over Austin has vowed to bring one of the nWo members out to the ring and kick his ass. -- Backstage, Lilan Garcia interviews Billy and Chuck. Billy and Chuck so they couldn't have done it without each other. Billy says Chuck is the best partner he has ever had. APA walk up and say they are there to congratulate them. Bradshaw tells them to get used to being close because come WrestleMania they can kiss each other's asses and kiss those belts goodbye. In-Ring Segment -- Stephanie comes to the ring. Before we watch Undertaker kick Triple H's ass, I have an announcement to make. Triple H will win the Undisputed Championship over my dead body. -- Jericho's entrance interupts Stephanie. Jericho walks to the ring. Jericho takes Stephanie's mic. We haven't spoke too much since I became the champion. But standing back there listening to you, I wanted to come out here and tell you something face to face. I used to come out here and call you names. I never really meant any of those things. i was just saying that to try to get a rise out of all these people. What did that ever get me? Nothing. It took me no where. I was wrong about how I thought about you. In reality I actually kina admire you. Now that I'm a living legend and the champion, I see you for exactly who you are. And thatis a brilliant, calculating, kniving genious. I am convinced that without you that Triple H is nothing. -- I never thought I would say this Chris, but you are absolutely right. I speak the truth. I'm the reason triple H won the title 4 times. You just gave me an idea Chris. You wanna beat Triple h at WrestleMania right? And I want Triple H to lose. Stephanie motions for jericho to follow her to the aanounce table to watch the main event. Triple H vs Undertaker -- Before the match starts Triple H walks in front of the announce table and stares at Jericho and Stephanie. Triple H spits water on both of them. Jericho jumps out of his seat towards Triple H and brings him in the ring. Triple H throws Jericho out. Triple H grabs Stephanie by the hair and attempts to pedigree her but Jericho quickly makes the save. Triple H clotheslines Jericho out of the ring and follows him out. Triple H throws Jericho into the crowd. Undertaker's music starts up and he rides his bike to ringside. Triple H is back in the ring being held back by the referee. Triple H knocks UT off the ring apron trying to enter. UT motions that there will be a next time. UT gets back on his bike and leaves to the back. NO CONTEST Final Segment -- Austin drives his truck to the ring. Hall is laid out in the back of the truck. Austin loads the ring with beers. Austin goes back to his truck and pulls Hall out of the bed into the ring. Austin knocks Hall on his ass with punches. Austin gets on the mic. Hey yo. I said hey you. You wanna play with Austin? You think your funny? Are you supposed to amuse me? Make me smile? Slap my knee? I said no. You are not gonna run off so quick. I thought we were gonna drink a beer. You don't like to drink beer? You cost me the title and now you don't wanna drink with me. You hurt my feelings. Scott, can I tell you a story? Austin kicks Hall in the ribs. Did that hurt? I apologize. I'm gonna express myself. What I'm gonna do is kick this SOB every time you say what. Austin begins to stomp a mudhole in Hall and walk it dry. I can keep kicking him but I don't wanna wear out a good shoe. Are you ok? Are you drunk? Do you have a buzz? You can't drive, you don't have a designated driver. I told you once you SOB, Stone Cold is the last person you want to mess with. Tell your friends Hogan and Nash. Get up. You wanna drink a beer? I'm tired of whipping your ass. Let's drink a beer. Hall reaches for a beer. Hall attempts to make a toast but Austin delivers the stunner. Austin listens to his watch. Austin gets a can of spraypaint out of his truck and rips hall's shirt off. Austin spray paints 3:16 on Hall's back at the crowd's request.
