Hello, De N4WO. I am an Extra class Amateur Radio Operator. It took alot of studying for me me to get where I am at today. I learn a bit slow but that has not stopped me. What I like best about ham radio is Communicating via Morse Code commonly called CW which stands for Continious Wave. Wheather their be a contest, or rag chewing (an everyday converstion) or in a pile-up. Pile-ups are fun for me. Surrounded by a thousand signals for a spot in the log. I just hate when I can't get through--hi hi. Hi Hi is ham radio jargon for laughter. My most memorable DX (anyone outside your own country) contacts have been Japan, Antarctica, the North Pole, Fiji Islands, Austrailia, Oman, Sudan, New Zealand, and India as well as Rodriguez Island off the coast of Madagascar out in the middle of the Indian Ocean. My favorite frequncies consist of the 6 meter amateur radio band which is the lowest amateur radio band of VHF. My furthest Qso (contact) on 6 meters has been to Buenos Ares, Argentina. That is called Transequtorial propagation. TE for short.
