Thanks for visiting my main page. Here you will learn a little bit about me, the webmistress, and find everything you need to navigate my site.
For starters, my real name is Amanda, but folks who know me call me Mandy. I am a 25 year old 2002 graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. In my 5 years of college I majored any several different subjects, but finally ended up getting my degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. I was employed at the largest mental health institution in the state of Florida in the personnel department for a short time. However, I have changed my mind once more and am in a completely different profession!.
When I began my college career way back in the Summer of 1997 I had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up! At that time I thought I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. That idea soon changed and I ended up majoring in Sociology. Even though finished with a degree in Sociology, I decided that field was not for me either. In August 2004 I completed nursing school and now work as an ICU RN at my local hospital.I know that it's a far cry from the elementary teacher I once dreamed of being, but I think it is what I was meant to be all along. I hate it has taken me this long to finally find my place in this world, but I guess everything happens for a reason!
