The 80's

But, I am real.Personally, I think the 80's was the last real human decade. Now everything is computers and technology. The 80's was the last generation before humans became computers, really. And I do look back on the 80's with a fondness.

I was very young, but I can remember the presidential election of '86 when the first Bush got elected president. My parent took me on a protest against him. We got sprayed with water.

Music today is a collaboration and extraction from old and new mixed together with a nice poppy beat and played by MTV and the other puppets of the big boss man Viacom. The only way to actually find the real music, outside the top ten, is on the internet, now. Which means we come back to computers just to find truth in reality, and only to find that our truthful reality now lies in no hands, but within a computer chip engineered by some child molesting cyber geek at Cisco Systems.

There's no way to escape evoloution. But, for music, the 80's gave a prelude to the computer world that was going to follow it and their big hair and tacky styles really produced better nostalgia than anything we could possibly hope for in the future. The music of today will die out into the endless void of technology, while that music will still live on.

And there's something to say for that.

Cheers,
Lost
