Thank you to Matt who helped to pick up some tickets.i have some accomplishments from this job!1. on 9.8.2005 took care of 38 & two parties. They paid individually with separate payments. (1 min per person?)2. two or three weeks later, i had another night 30 people & 4 parties. The 30 people all paid individually with different types of payments. (1 min per person?) 3. on Nov 4, i had to handle a big party who paid & refunds! 4. on Nov 5, i again finished my job without any troble & the money balanced perfectly! How did i do all this, and how did i handle it? ...By doing the BEST i can...

Then John' parents were visting us from Hawaii from 7/13 to 7/20. I just wanted to say "thank you" to the Pioneer Hall management for patiently letting me pick up my work pace after my vacation. I am finally catching up to the work pace in the Ticket Booth, after my vacation last month-7/13 to 7/20. During the last two weeks, I have learned a lot about HTML and Java Script from the internet, which will enhance my knowledge when I work on this website in the future. Yesterday(August 16th), we went to the sing-a-long at the Fort Wilderness Campfire program, and met Chip-n-Dale. Friday, 9 September 2005 Topic: Work Yesterday (9/8/2005)was the most exciting day since getting my new position at this great company. It was a normal night in the begining of the evening, and it was pretty routine for the first & second shows. My co-worker, she is also my trainer, went home early because there were only couple of bookings to collect the payment for, as well as tickets to pick up. When i opened my ticket window @ 8:45pm, there was a party of 30 people waiting to buy tickets for the 9:30 show. They were cast members from France!! They each paid indivually in cash and credit cards...and there were still other parties in line waiting to pay for their tickets with Master Card, Visa, and Cash! (13people). It certainly was very exciting and fast-paced, and I was completely involved in the work during this time: using the computer to update guest's INFO, collecting & changing money, etc....FINALLY I got everybody to the show at about 9:40pm. i guess that there was about 2/3 minutes to communicate & interact with each guest during that time!!!WOW

For example: yesterday was 7/16, first we had our breakfast at IHOP. Secondly, John took us to see Turkey Lake Park which was abut a 20min. drive. Then Windermere Library & Dr. Phillips Library where John' works part-time. Within a 10 min. drive, they visited our home in Orlando, FL. We took them back to the hotel at about 2:00pm, and picked them up at 4:30pm, and went to MGM Studios & Magic Kingdom Parks. After the 10pm fireworks at MK, we took a boat & tram & car to be home at about 11pm.

Hall, my trainer is still on her vacation, so i am the "Door Person". What i do is guide guests to the entrance as a greeter, going to the Outpost to look for late arriving guests. During the in between time i need to wrap silverware, filling 8 trays for the next morning's breakfast! On 6/14/05, i had a chance shadow Todd, who was a friendly, detail-oriented person, for my ticket booth position which i will start when my trainer is back from vacation.
