Welcome

My name is Lisa.  I am currently a Sophomore at Florida State University and my major is Nursing.  I have a lot of hobbies, but one of my current passions is karate.  I have been doing karate for about two years.  Growing up I always wanting to participate in karate, but my mother thought that it was to dangerous for girls to do.  When I was able to go college, I discovered that there are many clubs that teach karate for free.  Once I found a club, I was hooked.  I am now a 7kyu (Orange belt) in Shotokan Karate.  I have also just begun doing Wushu (kung-fu) for about a month.  Karate for me has been fun way to stay fit while learning to kick butt.
