Hi Samantha! I am not an expert in this field but certainly the product makers are (or should be!). I would carefully read the directions for any product you use to check for any warnings. That said, it is possible that some of the manufacturers may not be anticipating all that many women shaving before using their products! Nevertheless, although shaving may make skin extra sensitive for some of the girls, I have never had a problem with it when I did still shave (another good reason to zap that facial hair! LOL). If you are concerned, do a small test patch and wait 24 hours. If there is no significant irritation I would say have at it! Also, look for the more natural, less caustic masks and try my 7 step facial on the Cleansing & Care page!
