Ahoy, y'all!. This is the PHuture home (I hope) of the Arkansas River Pirates Parrothead PHlock, which is now PHorming in the Little Rock - Benton - Hot Springs area. The basis for a parrothead club is to bring like-minded people together who share a love for Jimmy Buffet, his music, and the tropical lifestyle. If you have a hawaiian shirt and like to partake of the spiritual essence of the juice of the agave (aka tequila), this might be the club for you!
Have you ever been walking down the street and found yourself humming a Buffett tune and found yourself wishing there were a Margaritaville somewhere in Little Rock? Do you absolutely refuse to put your Hawaiian shirts away for the winter? Then you might be a ParrotHead!

The Parrothead club Mission Statement includes the commitment to improve our community and its environment by volunteering to get involved in projects, following in the footsteps of Jimmy Buffet, who is always taking up worthy causes. He is a sponsor of the Save the Manatees and Reef Relief, for example. We don't have any reef and we're a little short on Manatees in Arkansas, but I'm sure we can find some local beautification or environmental or public service project that needs doing. I'm looking for fellow parrotheads from the Central AR area in particular, (travel considerations - once the club is active we'll meet at least once a month) though anyone in Arkansas is welcome to join.
