Heritage is a rather large concept when you try to visualize its entire effect on a selectively chosen and meticulously planned breeding program. We made two simple promises when we began breeding the finest possible performance horses years ago:
A. Never take away from Perfection, always strive to produce better.
B. Always allow the horse to chose it's profession.
Over the years we have added to this list of "must do's", but, we have never taken away from it. The horses come First. PERIOD. Just because we love running barrels doesn't mean that our horses won't prefer the track or LOVE cutting cows! Each horse, it's personality, physical qualities, and it's inner driving force all play a part in determining what profession our horses should be trained in. Excellent over all quality, sound MIND and BODY, conformation and performance abilities are all directly attributed to the fine HERITAGE at work at the Diamond D.
