As I awake to
To face each day
I say a prayer
Hoping no harm
Comes your way
I have no idea
What I would do
If anything ever
Happened to you
I know you think
I worry to much
But I can't imagine
My life without
Your loving touch
It's a honor to
Be in your life
I hope someday
God blesses me to
Be your wife
As you patrol the street
In broad daylight
I know God's angels
Are keeping you
In their sight
Guardian angels ready
To take flight
Protecting God's warriors
Each day and every night
This poem I dedicate
From the depths of my soul
But how much I love you
Only God knows
