I'm not really sure what college I will aim to attend, but I do plan on entering a career in the sciences. I searched for the best colleges in sciences and chose the second-best in the United States- UC Berkeley (the first was Harvard and I don't want to go there).

UC Berkeley was created in the late 1860s by a merger of the College of California and the Agricultural, Mining and Mechanic Arts College. Many of the orginal founders had come from Yale, and the education at Berkeley was styled after that of Yale and Harvard.

For the first 30 years after its creation, Berkeley suffered many financial problems; it wasn't until just before the year 1900 that finances became more stable and he University began to gain popularity, and has become larger, more sophisticated, and far more popular ever since, becoming one of the best colleges in the United States.

I am most interested in Berkeley for its excelling academic programs in the sciences- some of the best in the country.
