Evergreen Valley
Walking down the sloping dirt road, you decide its time to eat and set about finding a nice tree with ample shade. Satisfied with the old oak tree, you sit at the base of its trunk and select an apple, a sandwich, and a flask of water from your pack. Taking a big bite into the apple, you look around and survey the scene before you-a large green valley dotted with small white flowers full of small bushes. Squinting, you spot the bright blobs of color that are the birds.
Going back to your meal, you feel something furry touch your leg. Looking down, you see its a beautiful canine-like creature! It rests its soft white head unafraid in your lap and you without thought begin to stroke its fur, cooing and admiring its strange markings.
