I don't worry about making my words rhyme. I do like keeping a consistent beat or rhythm to the poems, but not all are so well designed.
Words to me are just vague symbols, after all. Appreciate what you can and don't measure/ judge too harhsly! :o

In my car...
I want to go
But can't go far
I really want to fly,
To see this world-
I really want a life
I can control and drive

Loyal Slave
From the beginning when it was young,
he enjoyed the kises from her tongue
a very cute face with soft, brown fur
There was no other creature like her
He raised her to a loyal friend
Who showed affection and licked his hand
Snap his fingers and she would come
Not realizing he called her "dumb"
The dog knew her master's emotions
And comforted him from all comotions
To every look or hint or call,
Those enormous eyes would catch it all
Years go by and there's less time to play
Left out in the rain she slowly wore away
The man was distracted and forgot his pet
But the love for her master was not gone yet
Every night as he would fall asleep
He could feel her warmth, and it was deep
Then he knew what he wanted in
Not some dog, but a real woman
The dog was behaved and always tried
But the couple repeated, "dog outside!"
So out she went, and she died from grief
And the master's joy was only brief
The man couldn't survive life's twisting vine
Without the large eyed, loyal canine.

Search too besotted
and damage the soul

All color and class
I become too picky
the months quickly pass
I search for just one
Through triumph and strife
Who will stay with me
The rest of my life?

emotions and pleasure
a special moment
of soft, white snowflakes
and sunny, warm beaches
of vast fields of roses
and sweet, juicy peaches
moving music...
that touches the soul
beautiful memories
that fill my heart full
knowing inside...
inside my mind
that i've found happiness
throughout my life
we all hold hands
the worlds unite
our hearts can mend
and find love tonight
so i shed a tear...
not for sorrow, but for dreams
not any dream, but for bliss
sheer bliss, and all happiness

Quietly observing
Outside of daylight

Is dancing to it's beat
Feeling what they touch
After the blood is still
To be just who you are
Is simple and pure
Living worlds say by day
Without wearing a mask
To paint perfect pictures
Is something to dream
Truth become beautiful
When you color what's real
To live for the stars
May spin the cycle
But sleeping in darkness
Does not mean the end.

no taste, no sight, no man
only shimmering tears held in the night
timeless memories past the outer stars
No sign could tell you what
no way, no word, no sound
only the silence that sleeps next to me
listening to all the dreams in my head
no creature could be like me
no will, no strength, no name
only a troubled girl who hides herself
from the very soul that's dying within
