African Woman
Here's the same image on canvas(it's pretty big. We had to use contrasting colors, and I thought red and green seemed to be more of an earthy, tribal combination.

Outside Bolles Hall
This is a view pretty unfamiliar to the students at my school(Bolles). Those crazy shapes above the roof tops are actually tree branches.

Country Morning
I love this exotic picture, see the pudgy birdie?!

Painted Still Life
AHa! Something different, it's in PAINT! oh yea, and the chinese lady it much more interesting vs. the tea pot on tablecloth.

Driveway
Random local house. I really liked that tree growing over thethe wall.

Flagler
My sister went to this college for a year... although it's not really an orange tree, I put oranges in since Florida is known for orange trees.

Alley
The red and yellow colors were purposely meant to stand out, being the colors of the Spanish Flag. They came to St. Augustine in the 1740s, similar to when my mom from Spain came here 240 some years later. ^_^ ole!

Palm Trees
Ahh, The courtyard outside Flagler has these tall creatures everywhere. I just layed there on the grass, and then decided to capture the angle on camera.

City View
I hated this one at first, but I'm glad it came through. You should see part of the Bridge of Lions, and the central focus of the city. Those hills I was standing from are so much fun to roll on and have picnics!...sigh, childhood.

Brick Roads
The coolest thing is driving down one of these old brick roads. The red and brown colors are quite pretty, but really bumpy!

Cornered Walls
Not really a favorite, but I wanted to put in the balcony. There are so many old houses like this still kept in the city.

Steps to the Fort
The fort(El Castillo de San Marco) is such a tourist magnet I almost didn't want it amongst the paintings, so I tried not to get it in postcard format.

Night Life
He he, it's true, not much happens at night. I wanted to make a night seen while still keeping those bright colors.

Harbor
I took this picture between the fence-like railing on a bridge. I love the many boats you can see around the fish market.

Sidewalk
A lovely sidewalk leading to the plaza from the post office. YOu always see someone on a bike through here. As a matter of fact there was one in the photo, but I had to take him out.

Mailbox Corner
I like this one...I love the crumbling wall, the ancient door, the plantsgrowing from the cement...IT's very difficult to get parking in the downtown area, hence the cars parked in this secluded area. They probably walked forever to get back to their car, luckily I'm a local and I just bike everywhere ^_^.

Docked Boats
kinda boring, huh?

City Gates
I took out all the street lights, tourists, and garbage on the ground. :) much better.

Four Stages
So there's the child, wide eyes; the youth, feeling their way; adults, like a preacher; an elder, full of wisdom he can't teach.

Steps
Flamenco is a dance with powerful steps, passion, and beauty...i just felt inspired i guess.

Dolphins
St. Augustine, Florida. If only the tourism in my town were marine life!
