Animal Rights
(Not Welfare)

AR-NoW is a discussion list for advocates and activists for the rights of nonhuman animals.

Mother and child, not food and drink.

AR-NoW is devoted to animal rights discussions. It is open, honest, free-wheeling, but limited to those who are dedicated to, or genuinely interested in AR. This includes those who sincerely want to move toward animal rights from animal welfare.

This list is not for welfarists or welfarism, and support for such views will not be tolerated. ARAs (and those on an AR path) will find unlimited and uncensored discussion, action alerts, RFIs, and more (even humor). Bring your big heart and large brain and join us!

If you have questions about the differences between animal rights and animal welfare, you can go here. Once you enter the site, click on the pig icon for topics. The first section has some good information on the differences between AR and AW.

If you would like more information, you may contact AR-NoW at the email address in # 1 below. Use "Info Please" as
your subject line.
