The ARA started as a group of rogue pilots who came into friendship. Before the alliance they were freelances, doing whatever they could for money. After the alliance was formed, they began to strive for the betterment of themselves and others. They became almost like a patrol unit, trying to keep bullying and blackmail and other unmoral activities from the pirating world. The loot they gain, they share, as well as their glories. This idea came to many other air-pirates, who threw away their rouge ways and joined the ARA. The ARA is now a well respected organization of tough-nosed dogfighters, recognized by the world over. These East Coast pirates are not goody-goodies by any means, but they keep the weak from being preyed upon by the strong.
