MURDERS OF DANNY ROLLING

Danny Rolling struck in late August of 1990, killing four young women and one man who attended the University of Florida in Gainesville. The murders took place in three seperate, private apartment complexes near the 34,000 student campus. Rolling pleaded giulty to these murders.

The crime scene of Sonja Larson and Christina Powell suggested that he entered while they were asleep. First Rolling restrained them with tape and silenced them. He would wake them up one at a time, so that he would not lose control. He had something that he wanted to get across, by lecturing them. After this he would began a ritual scene which he had practiced before in fantasy. This consisted of sexual activity of some sort and sadistic torture, followed by post-mortem cutting and positioning of the remains.
