Soul Calibur

Well, for this review I was thinking of just writing something along the lines of 'perfect' or 'God's gift to people who like good games', but I figured those of you who havn't played it would want to know why... so here goes.

First, this disc has some of the finest, most impressive graphics you're going to see on a console at this time. Yeah I've played DOA2 and Tekken Tag(PS2) but neither impresses me as much as Soul Calibur when it comes to crisp, clean realism. This game is beautiful. I could go on and on but I've got to get this over with. The gameplay, like the amazing graphics, is solid and the collision detection is usually dead on. The game feels natural and once you've mastered the moves of the characters executing them becomes second nature. So you're only hindrance will be your own ability and reflexes (play it and you'll understand what I'm talking about). Great sound effects and music are there in full force to round out the experience. Add to this recipe a load of secret characters, hidden features, and infinate replay value and you've got what is, in my opinion, quite possibly the greatest fighter ever created. If you don't have this game go get it now.
