It has now been 54 years since I joined the navy. Since I started this project, it seems like a floodgate was opened and the memories are flooding back into my mind, so I will be constantly adding to the site.Also I have done a lot of research on the internet and found a lot of things I had either forgotten or never knew.I hope I have given proper credit to all the web sites that I have gathered information from.In particular,thanks to Kar'l s Korner

Also ,while doing my research I made contact with a shipmate of mine on the Henderson, Roger Thompson. I did not know him aboard ship,but we have been communicating via e-mail.Roger was a fire control technician and his duties consisted of directing our gunfire at hostile targets.He has a graphic description of our activities at Inchon.You can check it out by going to Military.com,and scroll down and click on Inchon bombardment.
