Also Known As... Updates!

Okay, screw updates. I don't have enough drive to update weekly or whatever the big webmasters do. To explain the extreme lack of updates, in chronological order that prevented me from updating: laziness, testing, end-of-year homework load, sucking up to Mum in order to get the Marshall Mathers LP which she would otherwise never have got me, listening to said CD 24/7 in an extreme case of new-CD-syndrome, and an extremely f***ed up keyboard that wouldn't let me type anything until the babysitter fixed it. Anyway, as I said, screw updates. I might put something here when I make a big change (I'm adding an encyclopedia, which should be completed by the end of the summer holidays), but otherwise I'm just occasionally changing the poll and adding new stuff when I feel like it. Must be that all the pot I've been smoking has given me a-motivational syndrome (Just kidding, of course).

*gulps* Bad, bad me. No updates for over a month. *sigh* Um. I'm working on getting the shipper buttons up on the Miscellania page, I've finished House Points, and I've added an Etymology section. I'm trying to expand Hogwarts, and get some art up - one of my friends sent me a pic of Ginny, which will go up ASAP. Any fan fiction out there? Any? Come on, send it in, you know you want to! :o)

My friends, it is a sad thing I have to announce to you today. Harry Potter is done. Finished. Will never be completed. Because J. K. Rowling died when she was run over by a car yesterday. And I might also add that if you believed that, you are a true April Fool. Hehe. In other news, the teaser trailer for the movie is out (this is probably the last site to report this, I'm so behind...) and you can find it at The Official Harry Potter Web Site under Daily Prophet. Image maps will be taken down as per poll results - actually, I didn't like the image map either, it was too restricting. Many new sections are being added, but I don't think I'll tell you what they are - I'm too lazy to remember them all, but I'm adding House Points...erm... and stuff. Yeah. Stuff. You'll see it when it appears. All right, that's all for today. And in case you didn't catch it, the thing about JKR dying was an April Fools joke, ok?

Sorry about the lack of updates... if there's anyone out there. Angelfire wasn't letting me log in, and it's rather hard to update one's web site when one is detained at the login page by an "incorrect user name or password" message whenever one tries to log in. I wonder who "one" could be? :o) Rumours are up, and I added a section called OCPD, which stands for "Obsessive Compulsive Potter Disorder" and is basically a list of "You know you've read too much Harry Potter when..." 95% of it applies to me!

Yay! Yay! Yay! I got a new email address! Please send all mail to Myst@DreamMasters.com, excluding fanfic. Hogwarts is pretty much done - at least, there are no broken links there. I plan to add more later, though :o) The Fan Art section is next! *grin* At Nemesis's request... and please, send in your fan art! Fan fictions wouldn't hurt, either... :o) Oh, and I added a poll. It should hopefully be changed at the end of every month, but knowing me, that en't going to happen any more than pigs are going to fly... I'm so lazy...

The message boards are up and functioning! Rumours section still pending; your webmistress is going to start work on that and Hogwarts today if her mother doesn't drag her off to a nature preserve the entire day. Image mapping was completed today, and now I need your opinion: which do you like better, the image-mapped version of the homepage or the normal-text version? (Three guesses as to which loads faster). I'm probably going to pose that question as a poll on the main page.

Scarheads was brought into being yesterday. The Daily Prophet begins today. So far, I've put up the all-important Disclaimer, created the logo, and put up guardians and an FAQ section. I'm working on the site map and I'm about to put up the Rumours section. Although there are no links to them yet, I am beginning to create the message boards. There isn't much else to tell; so it's off to you, Bob, with the weather :o)
