But you may not take images or information directly from this site. It's sad, but true. If you want to, you have to email me and ask permission, and then you have to include credit and a link, if I give permission. If there's something else about this site you want to ask about, feel free to contact me.
All right, all right, I admit it, I loathe Eminem, (the song playing on the homepage, in case you didn't know, is "Stan"), but this was irresistible. What better music to symbol fanaticism? If you don't like it, turn off your speakers. As for the rest of it, well... *squirms* It's just so fun to stick a midi on your pages, so I'll say it again: You don't like it, that's your problem. Hit the switch and turn off the sound, because I'm not taking them off.
Well, this site is constantly undergoing expansion, and if I didn't always have something to be "Coming Soon!" it'd get boring. As for the links, well, occasionally I'll link to a page before I create it (in fact, all the links on the Site Map were created before the pages they linked to) so that's just another way of saying "Coming Soon!" However, if a link has been broken for a long time or it's a link to another site, please do email me to tell me.
Actually, you don't. You can, but you don't have to. I would prefer to use a no-login service like InsideTheWeb, but ITW just closed down and I can't use it anymore. So we're stuck with ezboard.
Please ignore that message board. I told you about InsideTheWeb closing down; when it did so, me and my gang of 'Net friends were left without a hangout. The Slytherin Common Room Message board was the name of the board we left, and so I re-created it for my friends on EZboard. It is "our" message board, and it's password protected so that no one else can get in. It is not a part of this site, so again, please ignore it.
If you have a story or poem you've written about Harry Potter, or you have a HP-related drawing, please send it as an attachment to Myst@DreamMasters.com. Stories should preferably be in text (filename.txt) or HTML (filename.htm or .html) format, but this is not a requirement. Art must be in GIF or JPG format - no bitmap files! Please include in the body of your email the title of your piece, your pen name, and for fanfiction, a brief summary. I am not picky about what I will accept, but please, no art that looks like a six-year-old drew it! And also, I will correct spelling and/or mechanics errors in fanfic, but I refuse to accept stories with awful or cliched plots.
Click on the "Hogwarts" link. The only real enrolling system I have is House Points, which is as follows: Whenever a member submits fan art or a fanfic, they get a certain number of House points based on the quality of the work. If you are a member and your House has the most points at the end of a month, then congratulations! I email you... a midi file! Heh. Yep, that's my prize. Cheap, aren't I?
On this site, Quidditch matches will be held bi-monthly in a chat room devoted to that purpose, once the teams are made. A full explanation of how the game works will be emailed to you if you make the team. To play on the team, send me an email telling me your name, the House you wish to play for, the position you wish to play, and the answer to this Quidditch trivia question: Name all the players on both teams in the Quidditch World Cup, and their positions. Positions will fill up, but there will be one reserve team for each House if the position you want is filled.
::grin:: As I say whenever someone asks me if I collect anything, "I don't collect stamps - I collect emails!" I have eight or so emails that I actually use, and five more obsolete ones that I've never gotten around to deleting. What can I say? When I'm bored, I get a new email address!
