Strength From Our Love
Love will give us many things,
Of this you may be sure,
Strength, Courage, Hope and Peace,
Enabling us to endure.
The bonding of our hearts as One,
Like an Eagle guarding her nest,
To steadfast hold each others hand,
Facing bad as well as the best.
My inner being has sensed a change,
That's causing me to tremble,
Your soft sweet whisper calls unto me,
"Prepare for our love to assemble".
And once the foundation is complete,
With all it's Faith and Trust,
Two polished hearts are what is left,
With not a trace of rust!
Our future dreams will be set on high,
With a new found zest for Life,
Hopes we thought were out of reach,
Now lead us toward the Light.
We now may call and make come true,
All the hopes we've held inside,
Gifts that dwelt within our Hearts,
We need no longer hide.
Boundless are the paths for us,
That is free now to explore,
The many things we thought were lost,
Are ours forever more.
We only need to Mold them dear,
To begin our life long dream,
The one that had been buried deep,
Where now it is Serene.

A Better Way Of Life
I sat trembling as I listened,
To the words that were spoken to me
It seemed I had broken all the rules,
So blinded I failed to see.
The power that had weakend me,
Led me on a sinful course,
For now I found myself frozen,
And reeling from great remorse.
Flashbacks of a life I had led,
Haunted the depth of my soul,
Laws that I recklessly squandered,
While acting out various roles.
This monster who had promised me,
That my life would be rich with fun,
Had taught me how to turn my back,
And how my Lord to shun.
Satan is the name that visited,
Stripping the love from my heart,
Until God's presence granted me,
Forgiveness and a brand new start!
He told me that His love for us,
Will never bend or weaken,
And that forgiveness is always granted,
When we listen while He is speaking!

The Absence Of God
There are many who hold God responsible,
For the Evil and Decay of mankind,
Not knowing that satan is lurking,
Where the Absence Of God you will find.
We have closed the door on our Savior,
And have prevented His Light to shine through,
Depriving our Children and Leaders,
Of Guidance and Morals we once knew.
The lack of God's Word in our country,
Have been made law by a handful of fools,
While the rest of us appear to be sleeping,
Allowing those of the minority to rule!
If we continue in the direction we're heading,
Not allowing His Word to be spoke,
Too soon will His wrath fall upon us,
While we ignore the Commandments God wrote!
Can you invision a time in the future,
When all who believe will be stoned!
As in the days that Jesus was crucified,
To lead us to God's Heavenly Throne.
The time has come for all who believe,
To put an end to the laws of a few,
Who choose to abandon the Ten Commandments,
We Must Include Him in all that we do.

A Love That Never Fails
Never a cross word has ever been spoke,
From the one I love so dear,
Never have I heard a slamming door,
Signaling the end could be near.
When I say I'm sorry for causing them hurt,
The warmth of their arms I do feel,
They never say I have one last chance,
I am thankful their love is so real.
Mistakes and tumbles I continue to take,
And discouragement shows in my eyes,
But my true love has always been there for me,
And comforts me when I cry.
Sometimes I fall and can barely stand up,
While my heart overflows with such pain,
It is then that I hear my loved one's voice,
Saying have faith and I'll carry you again.
If you have such a love that is part of your life,
Then perhaps we share the same light,
Can you say it's the Lord that stands up for you?
Loving us with all His might!

Grieving For Mankind.
So many things in this world to grieve for,
That I know not which one to choose,
Shall it be the lack of love for each other,
Or the women and children who are abused.
Shall I just concentrate on the lack of world peace,
Or should I think of the homeless instead,
What about my starving brothers and sisters,
Who scatter our lands and found dead.
Maybe I should only consider the fact,
That our politicians are liars and corrupt,
Perhaps I'll give thought to the families,
Who've lost children through gang wars and such.
What about those who are left grieving and alone,
Who's loved one has just taken their own life,
Or the fact that a pedophile has just been released,
Once again to ruin lives and cause strife.
Then I can shift my thoughts onto those,
Who are stricken with cancer each day,
Inflicting it's wrath on the young and the old,
While holding doctors and scientist at bay.
So many injustices that continue each day,
And so few joining hands for the cause,
The lack of compassion that's evident today,
The human race has unbearable flaws.

Something About The Way
Something in the way you smile at me,
Something in the way you kiss,
Something in the way you love me,
Overflows my heart with bliss.
Our love is one that's meant to be,
Your beauty and heart so pure,
I will hold you in my arms forever,
Of that you may be sure.
You have always made me happy,
Lifting me when I'm down,
I do not know what I would do,
Without your presence around.
A sky not ever seeing the sun,
Is what I think I'd be,
There would be no future for my life,
And tears would flood a sea.
I promise you a love that's true,
To be yours forever more,
Fullfilling all your wants and needs,
From the moment I walk through your door.
I love you.
