A Friendship So True 

A Friendship such as yours and mine
has been a blessing throughout all time.
When I first met you, I knew right then;
our friendship would last through thick and thin.
To make you laugh or see you cry
Can bring the sun or the cloudy sky
We have been through so much, you and I
We will never, ever say goodbye
My dearest friend I have to say
without you, is like a sky so gray
So I am proud to have a friend
that can see things around the bend.
Now I know when I am blue
I have a friendship that is so true.
