I have scoured the web to find some pretty neat and useful sites for you to check out. I have only included a few due to lack of space, but these are among the most interesting that I have found. Some of these are ment to give you very useful information, while others are just simply ment to be a means of spending a little time having some fun experiencing something different on the Internet. There's a lot of wacky stuff out there, but I felt it necessary to keep all of these sites appropriate for all. Enjoy them. Just click on the white links below, and they will take you to them. I will update them as I am able to keep them current. SURF ON DUDES!!

Looking for something different?

Here are a couple of sites that I thought were pretty neat. The first one is a familiar name, Ripley's Believe it or Not, but it's not a web site that you would normally think to go to. It's a slow loading site unless you're lucky enough to have a high speed connection, but it's worth the wait if you don't. Another site I found that may be of some interest to you is Conspire.com. If you have an interest in some of the most famous conspiracies in the U.S. over the past century, you might enjoy this. There's one more site here that, if nothing else, will make you realize that your last screw up wasn't quite as bad as it could have been. Darwin Awards. This is a site that shows the flaws of evolution for some, or the lack of.

Need a reference site?

If you haven't gone to these sites yet, I highly recommend it. They offer a wealth of information on countless subjects. I could spend days with these sites. The first is the Library of Congress. There is enough info here to keep you busy for a couple of months. If you still have another month to spare, here is another site that's well worth the time and effort - The Smithsonian Institute. If that's not enough, here's one more - The Internet Public Library. There are hundreds of reference sites out there. I have found that most of the Major Colleges have very impressive online reference libraries. If you need them, they are there.

Gotta have sports

Want to know what's going on in sports? Try these sites. This one is my personal favorite - NFL.com. There's nothing you can't find out about football here. Another favorite football site of mine is the NFL Football Hall of Fame. This site takes you back to a time when football was football. One more site that you can find info on football, or just about any other sport is the Sports Illustrated web site. Whether it's football, baseball, soccer, tennis, or you name it; it's on their site.

Visit the Old West

Do you want to re-live the Old West? Then mosey through the American West site. This link will lead you to the Gunslingers and Outlaws page, but you can return to their home page for more information worth taking a look at. This site is one that I have spent quite a bit of time at, and I highly recommend it especially if you like reading about the Old West. Check out the Over Land web site. Better set up camp for this one. You could be here a spell.

All about food

BAMM!! Check out Emerill and all of the great chefs at Food TV. You can get cooking tips and recipes for just about anything that you would need here. Another site that we found was the Betty Crocker page. This site also has recipes and ideas for planning meals. The last one is a page that we just found at Grandma's Kitchen web site. There are a thousand recipes here and if you like, check out the Amish recipes also.

The final frontier

Do want to know when the next space shuttle launch is going to be? Or find out more about our space program? There is no better site than the NASA web site. If you want to see some pretty cool pictures of space objects, go to the Space Image Archive where you'll find about as many pictures of space related objects as you would ever need. Try typing Saturn in the search box and you'll see what I mean. The last one that I found is another neat and useful site that may cover a few things that the other sites didn't. If you want to learn the truth about a Black Hole then go to the Amazing Space web site. They have some great info and history on comets, too.

Leftovers

Find out more about natural disasters and why they occur at the Savage Earth web site. If you like reading biographies, there's no better place to go than the Biography web site. You will find biographies on just about any person of social importance, or of little importance here. Finally, if you're looking for a good resource for history, then check out the History Channel page. There is much to be learned here, and much to be remembered.
