WORDS ON PAPER

Sometimes it seem the words effortless flow,

From the tip of my pen into a perfect row.

But it’s a blessing from God, a gift on loan,

To eulogize Him until I cease to roam.

With just the stroke of my pen God can be glorified,

And all that read can praise Him on high.

For His marvelous works on the land and sea,

And the bountiful blessings He gives you and me.

Thankful words I offer for the awesome gift of His Son,

And the promise of eternal life when my time here is done.

These words to some will be without meaning,

While others will read through them gleaning.

But they are written for glory, praise and esteem,

For the creator of all, the Lord God Supreme!
